2023-2024 SOAR VOLLEYBALL SEASON INFORMATION

 

TRYOUT INFORMATION:

Requirements:

1. Fill out our online Registration Form.
2. Pay the $100 Tryout Registration Fee* online. Cash or checks accepted at tryouts. Make checks out to Soar Volleyball Club.
3. Purchase a USAV membership.  (Must bring membership card to tryouts)
4. Medical Consent Form (Must bring signed medical consent form to tryouts)

 

When/Where:

1. November 18^th @ Covenant School of Jacksonville
   1. 5^th-8^th grade from 9:00am-10:30am
   2. 9^th-12^th grade from 10:30am-12:00pm
2. November 18^th @ Trinity Christian Academy
   1. 5^th-7^th grade from 1:00pm-2:30pm
   2. 8^th-12^th grade from 2:30pm-4:00pm

 

SCHEDULE

1. Practice dates and times are based on your team placement and will be 1-2 times/week; may include weekday and/or weekend practice times (December – April/May)
2. Tournament Schedules: you will receive a tournament schedule along with your contract once team placement has been determined (at least one tournament per month January-April).

 

COST

1. SVC Local Team $675 (tournaments played within Jacksonville), SVC Regional Team $875 (higher level, more competitive tournaments, may include tournament travel within a few hours of Jacksonville)
   1. Cost includes jersey, spandex, additional Soar apparel, practices and training, tournament fees, equipment, and administrative fees.  Private lessons not included.
   2. Additional Costs: USAV membership, tournament day travel costs and food
2. A $100 non-refundable deposit is due the day of tryouts.  An additional $175 is due the day you sign your contract accepting a position on a team.  The remaining balance must be paid before the first tournament in January (unless a payment arrangement has been requested and approved by the club director).  Please email cdow@tcajax.org to request a payment plan.

 

FUNDRAISING FOR YOUR CLUB COSTS

Corporate Sponsorship of an individual  –

1. You may obtain corporate sponsorships to help pay for your club membership
2. All businesses who sponsor a player will be featured on the Club’s website
3. Email business logos to cdow@tcajax.org

*The $100 deposit is nonrefundable but will be applied toward your total club fee if you are offered and accept a position on a Soar Volleyball Club team. If you do not make a team, you will receive a $50 refund.
