2020-2021 Soar Volleyball Season Player/Parent Information

IN ORDER TO TRY OUT EVERYONE MUST:

1.    Register through our registration page on www.soarvolleyballclub.com/registration. 
2.    Pay a $50 non-refundable deposit to Soar Volleyball Club along with registration (use credit or debit card on the website). If paying by check on the day of try-outs, make checks out to Soar Volleyball Club.  Cash will also be accepted on the day of tryouts.  This $50 deposit is nonrefundable but will be applied toward your total club fee if you are offered and accept a position on a Soar Volleyball Club team.  
3.    Have a current USAV membership card (Cost $55 and Located on the Forms page of our website). USAV will refund 75% or your membership fee ($41.25) if you request a refund from USAV within 30 days of membership.
4.    Fill out and sign a Medical Release Form (Located on the Forms page of our website)
5.    VERY IMPORTANT!  DAY OF TRYOUTS: BRING USAV MEMBERSHIP CARD AND MEDICAL RELEASE FORM! Additional documentation for Soar registration will not be necessary. We will have a roster to check off who is registered and paid. 

 

Schedule
1.    Practice dates and times are based on your team placement and will be 1-2 times/week; may include week day and/or weekend practice times (Practices will begin in January 2021 and continue until May 2021)
2.    Tournament Schedules: you will receive a tournament schedule along with your contract once team placement has been determined (at least one tournament per month).

Cost
1.    SVC Local Team $650 (tournaments played within Jacksonville), SVC Regional Team $850 (higher level, more competitive tournaments, may include tournament travel within a couple hours of Jacksonville)
a.    Cost includes jersey, spandex, additional Soar apparel, practices and training, tournament fees, equipment and administrative fees.  Private lessons not included.
b.    Additional Costs: $55 USAV membership, tournament day travel costs and food
2.    A $50 non-refundable deposit is due the day of tryouts.  An additional $175 is due the day you sign your contract accepting a position on a team if offered a position.  The remaining balance must be paid before the first tournament in January (unless a payment arrangement has been requested and approved by the club director).  Please email cdow@tcajax.org in order to request a payment arrangement. 

Fundraising for your Club Costs
Corporate Sponsorship of an individual  –
1.    You may obtain corporate sponsorships to help pay for your club membership
2.    All businesses who sponsor a player will be featured on the Club’s website
3.    Email business logos to cdow@tcajax.org
